About the Proyect:

Five years ago, in my seventeen missionary trip to Cuba, I met a couple; called Roberto Esteban and Felicia,  who talk to me about the visión that they had,  to go as missionaries to Africa; I was very interested in their proyect, so I start to think and pray about it.
Two years ago we manage to take this couple to Senegal, with the purpose of open a cantine to feed the needdy children in that country, after a year of staying there learning french and getting to know the customes and the way of living of the people of Senegal; they were prepare to take the responsability  of  a Social Cantine.
At the same time, we were  talking with our wonderful frinds from Norway, Mr and Mrs. Kvinesland from Skudeneshavn, about the posibility of getting a name that ment to them something special, and of course to get them and their friends and families interested in helping this special proyect in Senegal.
So we were working together;  a logo for the cantine came out from the hands of my son and Pastor Josue Pena.
I went to Senegal in May this year, and the result of it was to start our  first cantine.
Called: COMEDOR MARLINDA. In the Aldea of Ndangane.
I want to thank  our good friends Arnt and Reidum, that made possible to start this good proyect; Thansk as well to thous in Norway who are colaborating with us.

Acerca del Proyecto

Hace cinco años atrás en mi viaje misionero a Cuba numero 17, conocí a una pareja llamados Roberto Esteban y Felicia, quienes me hablaron acerca de la visión que tenían de ir de misioneros al Africa. Asi que comencé a pensar y orar por este tema.
Hace dos años conseguimos llevar a este matrimonio a Senegal, con el propósito de abrir un comedor para los niños necesitados del país. Después de un año de estancia, aprendiendo el francés y las formas de vivir de los senegales, ya estaban preparados para tomar la responsabilidad de abrir un comedor social.
Al mismo tiempo comenzamos a hablar con nuestros amigos el Sr, y la Sra. Kvinesland de skudeneshavn Noruega, acerca de la posibilidad de tener un nombre que significase algo especial para ellos; y por supuesto interesarles a ellos a sus amigos y familiares para apadrinar este proyecto  en Senegal.
Así que hablamos sobre el proyecto, y un logo fue el resultado de los acuerdos, que salió de la mano de mi hijo y Pastor Josué Pena.
Viaje a Senegal en el mes de Mayo de este año, y el resultado fue el comenzar el primer comedor Social llamado; COMEDOR MARLINDA. En la aldea de Ndangane.
Quiero dar las gracias a nuestros buenos amigos Arnt y Reidum, que hicieron posible el comienzo del comedor y también a todos aquellos en Noruega que colaboran en el proyecto con nosotros.
